Reaching out to our local community and also to our friends
working in all areas of Mission across the globe
is a foundation of our church community.
Our goal is to be focussed outwardly with prayer, practical support and ‘giving’ to each of these causes.
If you would like more information on any of these activities please contact Rev. Andrew Satchell
Gran’s Van:http://www.gransvan.org.au
We enjoy volunteering with Gran’s Van distributing food and clothing in our local area, to those in need. We make ‘old’ friends and learn a few life lessons about humility and contentment along the way. Gran’s Van was formed in 2006 to provide help to the homeless and hidden poor of Devonport.
Devonport Presbyterian Church has a strong link with Devonport Chaplaincy.http://devonporthaplaincy.org.au/team/
Members of our church family find rewarding service working, in the clearly defined role, as mentors to a number of school children.
Check out the Food for thought, Easy P’s, and Mentor training programmes.
Soup and Sandwich Lunches
This is another fun time serving the local community
with inexpensive healthy soups and sandwiches.
For those in need, there is no cost.
Held on the last Friday of the month April – November from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Aged Care Ministry
